Italy-based Sapienza University of Rome has exhibited paintings by 19 Iranian female artists.
Dubbed ‘The Colors of Persian Music’, the exhibition featured paintings selected from the workshop held by Italian artist and musician Antonio Poce in Tehran in February.
Iran’s Cultural Office in Rome organized this exhibition at the Museum of Classical Art based in the Italian University.
“This exhibition is a symbolic event" to boost ties between the two countries with great civilizations,” said Iran’s cultural attaché Akbar Qoli, adding, “Iran played host to the educational workshop and now Italy is hosting the outcome of it”.
